With the help of a targeted eye tracking analysis for the web portal of the HOGAST cooperative we were able to establish to which degree the text elements or images on the web page were perceived. This enabled us to come up with a new and optimized internet solution with a higher level of usability.

The successful eye tracking analysis for the HOGAST web portal revealed which elements of the website the visitor is primarily looking at, for instance texts, images, slogans, logos and the navigation bar. The results of this analysis were taken into consideration when creating the new and optimized web portal which is now more user-friendly and appealing to the visitors' eyes.

These are some hotel websites that we analysed according to our new eye tracking technology. They have a demonstrably higher user-friendliness, which makes the visitor stay longer on the site. This also implies that hotels with an optimized web page can record more inquiries and bookings.
