The graphic layout of your site gives you the opportunity to expose yourself to visitors in a way that corresponds to your company image and the image of your product. It transmits your style, your way of communicating and is a decisive factor in creating a lasting image (the value of being recognised). At the same time it represents the environment in which the visitor to your Homepage will navigate.
Usually it is advantageous to create your own "CI" (Corporate Identity) on the web. It is also a good idea to clearly separate the content from the navigational elements. Naturally you should base your layout on tried and tested structures. There are many useful statistics on this subject: how many animations? How many effects? How many colours? How many images? Which fonts? You have to know the rules in order to break them!
